- E-Groups An example of a well-known site for mailing lists. Join a list or create your own.
- HushMail An example of a free email service. This one highlights security of messages. Incorporates encryption to the client with JAVA making sure your data is secure even from their own servers.
- XOOM An example of free web page service. Free web space for your pages provided you display banners to each visitor.
- Samspade.org The definitive WWW interface to tools such as traceroute, ping, DNS, rDNS and much more.
- Gopher's! Global gopher directory.
- Anonymous FTP list from tile.net List of anonymous FTP sites around the world. Not all, but enough to keep us all busy.

- Ultimate Anonymity A pay
site, but one of the first of its kind. Includes methods to protect your data,
your passwords and send secure email. Big on encryption, includes forums.
- LinkExchange.com Increase traffic to your site, get counters and search engine submission.
- The HTML Writer's Guild A must to join if you are maintaining any sort of pages. Information, links, tutorials, applets, mailing lists.
- The W3C Consortium All sorts of services, but most importantly the Specs of HTML 1.0 up to 4.0+, XML, XSL, CSS, SMIL. It's all here.
- Latin1 characters Ampersand chars in HTML. An extensive discussion, check it out for maximum compatibility.
- Wacky HTML Little things you can do, but never dare to.
- cgi-free.com Free CGI services. A good learning experience for beginners.

- The Complete Guide to HTML & JavaScript Pretty much self-explanatory... Also includes DHTML tutorials.

- Browser Caps Browser conformance to HTML. Essential and very elaborate. Before you include the stuff you want make sure it works.
